Event Schedule
The Clean Out Your Closets 5K Run/Walk will be held rain or shine.
7:30 AM: Packet Pick-Up and Participant Registration Opens
7:30AM: Donation Drop-Offs Begin
8:30 AM: Warm-up Session Begins
9:00 AM: 5K Timed Run Start
9:10 AM: 5K Untimed Run Start
9:15 AM: 1K Kids Run Start
10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Brunch & Block Party
5K Run/Walk & 1K Kids Run
The 5K will take place around the canal at SRP PERA Club. Optional track timing is offered for runners who would like to compete, or you can simply enjoy a leisurely walk/run. Jogging strollers, walkers, and serious runners are all welcome to participate. Open to ages 8 and over.
The 1K Kids Run is open to all children under the age of 12.
*Please note that the course is a combination of dirt and pavement around the canal and may be bumpy. We highly suggest bringing a jogging stroller.
Brunch & Block Party
Everyone is welcome to join us after the run for a celebration! Enjoy music, a Runner's Brunch, and beverages (including mimosas and non-alcoholic options). Plus, the Kid Zone will feature inflatable play areas, arts and crafts, face painting, and more! There will be awards and giveaways for participants, and don't forget to hit the photo booth!

Donation Drive
UMOM invites you to clean out your closets for new and gently used clothes, shoes, and other items (click here to see what we need most!). Bring them with you to the donation drive at the event and get a raffle ticket!
