The Oliver Triathlon Weekend delivers a scenic and friendly multisport experience in the heart of British Columbia’s sunny South Okanagan wine country. Set against rolling vineyards with a swim in spring-fed Tucelnuit Lake, quiet country roads for biking, and a run along the Okanagan River, this two-day event offers options for athletes of all levels.
Saturday – June 6 | Sprint & Standard Events
Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim + ~17 km bike + ~5 km run.
Standard (Olympic) Triathlon: 1,500 m swim + ~40 km bike + ~10 km run.
Standard Aquabike: Swim + bike only at standard distance.
Standard Relay: Team relay option on Saturday distances.
Saturday’s race formats are ideal for both first-time triathletes and seasoned racers looking for a classic start-of-season challenge.
Sunday – June 7 | Long Course & Relay Events
Long Course Triathlon (Half-Iron Distance): Swim in Tucelnuit Lake, bike ~89 km through vineyard terrain, and finish with a ~21 km run along the river.
Long Course Aquabike: Swim + bike at the long course distance.
Long Course Relay: Team relay option on long course format.
Mixed Team Relay: Exciting fast relay format with four-person teams (2 female/2 male), part of Sunday’s program.
Sunday’s long course and relay events provide a satisfying endurance test and team-oriented competition.
