Cultus Lake Triathlon

The Cultus Lake Triathlon is a standout end-of-season race set on the shores of pristine Cultus Lake in beautiful Cultus Lake Park. Athletes swim in clear, refreshing lake water, bike rolling Fraser Valley roads framed by forest and farmland, and run along scenic lakeside paths lined with cheering spectators. With a field capped at 800 athletes and a reputation for selling out early each year, this event delivers a high-quality, community-driven race experience that’s both competitive and welcoming.
Easily accessible from western Washington, Cultus Lake is a straightforward drive north via the Peace Arch or Sumas border crossings, then east along Highway 1 toward Chilliwack — typically 3–4 hours from Seattle depending on traffic and border wait times. The convenient location makes it an ideal destination race for Pacific Northwest athletes looking for a memorable late-season challenge.
